
ALABAMA — An Albertville man has been arrested following a theft investigation that led to the recovery of multiple stolen items.
The Albertville Police Department said officers received new information during the week of August 24 regarding a theft reported in June 2025. On August 28, police executed a search warrant at a home on Jo Ann Street, recovering several stolen items.
Recovered property included an enclosed utility trailer and equipment taken from Americold Logistics, valued at over $4,000, as well as a utility trailer, tools, construction equipment, fencing, concrete, and ladders belonging to the City of Albertville, valued at over $5,000.
Sunny Richard Brown, 36, of Albertville, was arrested and charged with two counts of Receiving Stolen Property. He was booked into Albertville City Jail and later transferred to the Marshall County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
The investigation involved assistance from the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
