GEORGIA — Police have arrested three suspects in connection with a shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy last month on LaRoche Avenue.
According to the Savannah Police Department, 18-year-old Dequan Dominique Petty, 17-year-old Rajai Massai Zeigler, and 20-year-old Jon Wesley Petty have all been charged with murder in the case.
Zeigler is also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, while Dequan and Jon Petty face additional charges of criminal attempt armed robbery.
Officers responded to the 4000 block of LaRoche Avenue around 10:10 p.m. on Aug. 22, where they found the victim, later identified as 16-year-old Alexis Milton Jr., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite receiving medical aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
