INDIANA — A woman was found dead and a man injured following an incident early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Marshall County deputies were called just after 3:45 a.m. to a home on Jute Road regarding a man who had been stabbed. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.
During questioning, police were led to another home down the road, where they discovered the body of a 46-year-old woman, who has not yet been identified.
Indiana State Police said the injured man is now in the custody of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and is being questioned in connection with the woman’s death.
