
SOUTH CAROLINA — A 24-year-old Conway man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery, according to police and court documents.
Justice Jhamere Bright was taken into custody on Aug. 26 and charged with two counts of armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Authorities said Bright is prohibited from having a gun in South Carolina.
According to the Conway Police Department, Bright allegedly robbed a victim of jewelry on Oak Street while holding a gun.
Bright is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center as he awaits trial. The case remains under investigation.
