NORTH CAROLINA — Detectives with the High Point Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death Tuesday on E. Lexington Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene and discovered a 20-year-old man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the location.
Police said the incident appears to be isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation remains active.
