20-year-old dead following crash on I-75 in Ohio

ALLEN COUNTY — A 20-year-old Cincinnati man died Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 North at the State Route 696 overpass.

The Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 8:37 p.m.

The vehicle struck the concrete support for the overpass.

Kennedy sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Ohio Department of Transportation, Beaverdam-Richland Fire & Rescue, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and Blake’s Garage.

The crash remains under investigation.

  1. Sounds like he may have dozed off and missed the curve. Really sad! Driver was so young. Prayers for his family.
