TENNESSEE — One person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in the Marlow area, deputies said.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. on Haney Hollow Road. The pedestrian, 37-year-old Wanda S. Phillips, was transported to UT Medical Center for treatment.
A man has been taken into custody and remains under investigation.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
