
SOUTH CAROLINA — A small plane crashed Tuesday morning near Rho Road in Seneca, according to Oconee County Airport Director Jeffrey Garrison.
The incident occurred between 8 and 9 a.m. Officials said the plane remained upright and did not catch fire or flip over.
The aircraft did not take off from Oconee County Airport, and authorities have not released details about the type of plane or its intended destination.
The pilot was uninjured and was speaking with first responders at the scene. Authorities say the cause of the crash is currently unknown.
