$300,000 lottery ticket winner sold in Ohio

OHIO — A lucky stop at the Norton BP has turned into a $300,000 payday for one local customer.

The winner claimed the top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s $10 White Diamonds scratch-off game. According to lottery officials, the odds of winning the $300,000 prize are about 1 in 1.26 million.

The game still has two top prizes remaining, along with other cash awards. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.01.

The Norton BP, located at 3701 Cleveland Massillon Road, will receive a $3,000 sales bonus for selling the winning ticket.
