GEORGIA — The Glynn County Police Department arrested a Brunswick man Wednesday night after a traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal drugs and a firearm, authorities said.
Officers stopped a vehicle around 8:32 p.m. near Habersham Street and Peachtree Street and identified the driver as Malcolm Mincey.
A check revealed he had an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant issued by the Glynn County Sheriff’s Office. Mincey was taken into custody without incident.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found approximately 50 grams of marijuana, individually packaged THC-infused edibles, multiple digital scales and packaging materials commonly used in narcotics distribution, and a Glock handgun.
Mincey was booked into the Glynn County Detention Center on multiple charges, including possession of marijuana and a Schedule I substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, tag light violation, and failure to appear.
