KENTUCKY — A warrant arrest on Monday afternoon led to drug-related charges, authorities said.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies, working with probation and parole, went to the home of 65-year-old Rexford Music on Farmers Lane to locate 40-year-old Justin Evans, who had active warrants for second-degree assault, probation violation, third-degree terroristic threatening, and menacing.
Deputies said Music opened the door after being told several times to come outside but initially would not answer questions about Evans’ presence.
Evans was later found inside the home along with a large bag of suspected meth, a glass pipe, and a digital scale, which were reportedly in Music’s room.
Evans was taken into custody on his active warrants. Music was arrested and charged with possession of meth (second offense) and second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.
