OHIO — Horizon Science Academy High School in Dayton has announced that classes at its Shoup Mill Road location will be canceled on Monday because of ongoing problems with the building’s air conditioning system.
The school posted the update on its website, stating the closure is “due to a malfunction with the air conditioning system.”
This marks the second consecutive school day impacted by the issue, as classes were also canceled on Friday.
School officials have not said when repairs are expected to be complete but will provide updates as more information becomes available.
