
OHIO — A person was seriously injured in a shooting on the city’s west side early Sunday morning, authorities said.
According to a Columbus public safety dispatcher, first responders were called to the intersection of West Broad Street and South Highland Avenue around 2:15 a.m. on a report of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
Details about a possible suspect or what may have led to the shooting were not immediately available. Police continue to investigate.
