SOUTH CAROLINA — A 69-year-old bicyclist has died following a crash earlier this week in Oconee County, according to the county coroner.
The collision happened Tuesday around 2:15 p.m. on SC 182 near East Spearman Road in Westminster, when a vehicle struck the bicyclist.
The victim, identified as James M. Adams of Fair Play, died Friday at 10:22 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
The Oconee County Coroner’s Office ruled the death an accident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
