INDIANA — A person was shot and killed early Friday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 8400 block of Meadowlark Drive around 1:50 a.m. When they arrived, they found a victim with gunshot wounds. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD detectives are investigating the incident.
No further details about the victim or possible suspects have been released.
