LOUISIANA — Tangipahoa Parish deputies are investigating after a body was found inside a vehicle near Amite over the weekend.
Authorities responded to a call about a vehicle crash on Bennett Road early Sunday morning. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man inside the car who had been shot to death.
The man’s identity is pending confirmation following an autopsy.
