GEORGIA — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning, prompting a police investigation and temporary road closure in Brookhaven.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. on Peachtree Road near Dresden Drive. Police said the pedestrian died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators say the vehicle involved fled the scene. Authorities expect the road to reopen within the hour.
