MARYLAND — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Thursday night in Prince George’s County.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, officers responded around 10:40 p.m. to the 11400 block of Rhode Island Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made, and police have not released the victim’s identity or any information about possible suspects.
