OHIO — A body was found Thursday morning in the Cuyahoga River, according to the Cleveland Division of Fire.
A city worker noticed the body around 10:10 a.m. while walking along the Carter Road Bridge and notified authorities.
Fire crews arrived on the scene and recovered the body from the river.
The fire department stated that the victim is believed to be a male, but no further information has been released regarding the victim’s identity or the circumstances surrounding his death.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will lead the investigation to determine the cause of death and the victim’s identity.
