OHIO — A 19-year-old man is dead following a stabbing Wednesday evening in west Toledo, and a 17-year-old girl has been charged with his murder.
According to the Toledo Police Department, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence on Morningside Drive around 8 p.m.
When they arrived, they found Dashawn Cotton outside the home with at least one stab wound.
Officers provided first aid before Cotton was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said in a press release.
Police have arrested Cotton’s 17-year-old girlfriend in connection with the incident. She is currently facing a murder charge.
