KENTUCKY — A man died Friday afternoon following a collision at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and Timber Lane, the Elizabethtown Police Department reported.
Officers responded to the serious injury crash around noon on July 11.
According to preliminary investigation, a woman driving a white Nissan Rogue attempted to turn left from Timber Lane onto Patriot Parkway when her vehicle entered the path of a white Nissan Sentra.
The Sentra’s driver applied the brakes but could not avoid a collision. The front of the Sentra struck the driver’s side of the Rogue.
A male passenger in the SUV was transported to Baptist Health Hardin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The drivers of both vehicles were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
