OHIO — A 32-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after drowning in a pool at an apartment complex in Colerain Township, police said.
Officers were called just before 3:30 p.m. to the Prime Apartments & Townhomes at White Oak, located in the 3200 block of Rocker Drive, following reports of a drowning.
First responders, including Colerain Township police, fire, and EMS personnel, found the man unresponsive in the pool.
He was pulled from the water by firefighters and taken to UC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
On Monday, the Hamilton County coroner identified the victim as Alxioune Mbaye of Cincinnati.
Police said the incident appears to be accidental, but the investigation is ongoing.
