OHIO — As Halloween approaches, communities across Northeast Ohio have announced trick-or-treat times, with most scheduled for the evening of Thursday, October 31.
Some cities, however, will celebrate on different dates or include additional Halloween events. Here’s a quick guide to help families plan their festivities.
Saturday, October 26:
- Akron: 5-7 p.m.
- Cuyahoga Falls: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Wooster: City-wide event from 4-8 p.m.
Sunday, October 27:
- Canton: 3-5 p.m.
- Brecksville Boo-ville Halloween Party: 1-4 p.m. at the Community Center.
- Fairlawn: 5-7 p.m.
Tuesday, October 29:
- Canton Trunk or Treat: Stark County Fairgrounds, starting at 4 p.m.
Thursday, October 31 (unless noted otherwise, times are 6-8 p.m.):
- Ashland: 5-7 p.m.
- Aurora: 6-8 p.m.
- Avon: 6-7:30 p.m.
- Avon Lake: 6-7:30 p.m.
- Brecksville
- Broadview Heights
- Brook Park

- Chardon: begins at 7 p.m.
