OHIO — Multiple individuals were arrested and several search warrants executed Friday evening in Bellefontaine as part of a months-long narcotics investigation, according to the Bellefontaine Police Department.

The coordinated operation began around 7:20 p.m. when officers and detectives from the Bellefontaine Police Department, along with deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, served search and arrest warrants at 417 East Auburn Avenue, the residence of Brian C. Mees.

Three individuals were taken into custody at the location: Brian C. Mees, De’Andre L. Tucker, and Chase M. Whiting.

Whiting attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by Bellefontaine Police K9 Pyro and his handler, Officer Hostetler.

He was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of injuries from a dog bite and later released into custody. All three were booked into the Logan County Jail.

Authorities then executed additional warrants at 417 North Detroit Street, where they arrested Jeffrey C. Clark, Tonja M. Parsley, Timothy E. Clark, and Roscelle Clark.

Officers reported finding evidence of drug trafficking and use at the residence. All four were also lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Further searches were conducted at 450 Kristina Drive, apartments 7C and 14E—both associated with Whiting.

Although no individuals were present at those locations, investigators recovered additional evidence related to the ongoing case.

No injuries to officers or deputies were reported during the operations. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
