VIRGINIA — Roanoke Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who is now considered endangered.

According to a release from the department on Tuesday, 40-year-old Meagan Martin was last in contact with her family on Saturday.

She is described as a white woman with hazel eyes and brown hair, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 95 pounds.

Police say they received a missing persons report around 2 p.m. Monday.

Before meeting with the person who reported her missing, officers went to Martin’s home in the 1400 block of Downing Street NW, but no one answered the door.

The following day, at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called back to the same address after suspicious items were discovered. A search warrant was executed at the residence, but no one was found inside.

Martin is now classified as an endangered missing person, and the investigation remains ongoing.
