PENNSYLVANIA — A woman is dead after being found shot multiple times inside an SUV early Wednesday morning in the Crafton Heights neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Police responded to the 1400 block of Chartiers Avenue at 4:27 a.m. following a two-round ShotSpotter alert.
When officers arrived, they discovered the woman inside the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.
She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after 5 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing. Pittsburgh Police have not released the victim’s identity or any information on a potential suspect at this time.
