INDIANA — A Cincinnati man died Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on State Route 252, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to the scene near Raymond Road just before 3 p.m. and found that 67-year-old Jeffery D. Ogle had been ejected from his 2007 Harley-Davidson after losing control and going off the roadway. The motorcycle struck a fence before coming to a stop.

Ogle was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole rider.

State Route 252 was closed for about 90 minutes while authorities conducted their investigation.

The Drewersburg Volunteer Fire Department, Letts EMS, and the Franklin County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
