ALABAMA — A man was arrested late Sunday night on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to Priceville police.
Officers stopped a vehicle around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mountain Valley Road and Point Mallard Parkway.
During the stop, a narcotics investigation was launched, and the department’s K-9 unit was brought in to assist.
Police say officers found digital scales and various drugs inside the vehicle. The driver, 56-year-old Christopher Stephen Shadix of Eva, was arrested without incident and taken to the Morgan County Jail.
Shadix is facing charges including trafficking dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana (second degree), and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held without bond as authorities review a prior case involving possession with intent to distribute.
