
OHIO — Four inmates escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in Columbus on Thursday night, prompting a police search and the issuance of arrest warrants.
Columbus Police responded to the Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) around 8:50 p.m. after receiving reports that the inmates had broken a window and fled the premises.
The identities of the inmates have not yet been released. Authorities are actively working to locate the individuals.
According to its website, the CBCF is a residential prison diversion program for adult offenders, offering minimum-security supervision.
Police are urging anyone with information about the escapees to contact authorities immediately.
