
NORTH CAROLINA — A Morehead City man is facing multiple additional drug charges following a search of his home conducted by the Morehead City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division on Thursday, May 8.
Joshua Daniel Dupree had been previously arrested on May 6 on heroin trafficking charges stemming from a traffic stop.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police executed a search warrant at his residence.
During the search, detectives found a trafficking amount of heroin, a quantity of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia consistent with processing and selling controlled substances.
As a result, Dupree was charged with:
- Two counts of Trafficking Heroin
- Maintaining a Dwelling for the Storage and/or Sale of Controlled Substances
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Heroin
- Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Cocaine
Dupree is being held at the Carteret County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.
