OHIO — A 42-year-old Auburn man died Monday after his car collided with a pickup truck at an intersection in Wood County.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Dane Knapp Sr. was driving on Defiance Pike when he failed to yield at the intersection with Dixie Highway.
A pickup truck struck the passenger side of his vehicle.
Knapp was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured, but a passenger in the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
