
ALABAMA — A Tuscaloosa man was arrested early Sunday morning on multiple drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 65, according to the Priceville Police Department.
Officers stopped a vehicle around 2 a.m. on I-65 southbound near the 331-mile marker.
The driver was identified as 23-year-old Jared Shamar Jennings.
During the stop and subsequent investigation, police discovered multiple packaged quantities of marijuana, over a pound of synthetic narcotics and THC concentrate, drug paraphernalia, and a stolen firearm inside the vehicle.
Authorities noted that Jennings is currently on federal probation for multiple firearms-related offenses.
Jennings was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Morgan County Jail.
He faces charges including trafficking dangerous drugs, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree receiving stolen property.
