FLORIDA — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has filed new charges against a man connected to a fatal shooting that occurred in June 2024 in North Tampa.
Deputies responded to a 911 call just before 3 p.m. on June 17, 2024, reporting gunfire in the roadway near Regents Park Drive and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found an adult male deceased at the scene.
Terrance Robinson, 34, was initially arrested on July 23, 2024, for accessory after the fact in connection with the case.
Following a lengthy investigation, authorities say new evidence confirmed Robinson’s involvement leading up to the shooting.
He is now charged with robbery and first-degree felony murder.
On May 8, 2025, Robinson was taken into custody by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and is awaiting extradition to Hillsborough County.
“This individual thought he could avoid accountability, but our detectives remained relentless,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
“Violent acts like this will never be tolerated in Hillsborough County. I hope this arrest brings some measure of peace to the victim’s loved ones, knowing justice is being served.”
The investigation remains active. Further updates will be provided by the Public Affairs Office.
