WISCONSIN — A La Farge woman was arrested Friday after deputies discovered illegal drugs during a routine traffic stop.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Amber Biamonte was pulled over on Main Street in La Farge.
During the stop, a K9 unit was deployed and alerted deputies to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of illegal drugs.
Biamonte was taken into custody at the scene. The sheriff’s office is recommending charges including possession of illegal drugs with intent to deliver, along with other possible offenses.
Authorities have not yet released details on the specific substances found. The case remains under investigation.
