Three people arrested following drug bust in Florida

FLORIDA — Three people are in custody following an undercover narcotics investigation that led to the execution of search warrants at two locations on Puryear Street.

On March 20, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office searched 924 and 932 Puryear St. as part of the investigation.

At 924 Puryear St., detectives found a significant amount of illegal drugs, including 5 pounds of marijuana, over 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.25 pounds of cocaine, 7 ounces of MDMA, and one firearm.

Drug paraphernalia consistent with manufacturing and trafficking was also discovered.

A large amount of additional drug paraphernalia was located at 932 Puryear St., according to a statement posted by the sheriff’s office on social media.

Three individuals were arrested in connection with the case:

  • Megan Adams, 36, was charged with resisting arrest without violence, maintaining a drug dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Charles Wright, 45, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.
  • Noel “Chris” Tobler, 55, faces multiple charges, including armed trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
