INDIANA — Authorities have arrested multiple people following a fentanyl and firearm bust linked to a home on East Louisiana Street.
The investigation began Tuesday when Drug Task Force officers observed Deangela Bishop and another person enter the home and leave shortly after in a car.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a violation and searched the vehicle, finding a purse on the floorboard near Bishop’s seat. She denied ownership, but her ID was inside, along with multiple baggies of fentanyl.
A pat-down revealed additional fentanyl on her person. Bishop is being held without bond.
Following her arrest, SWAT and Drug Task Force members executed a search warrant at the home, where they found Dalyn Rhodes and Demetres Gray Jr.
Investigators reported a light-colored powder floating in the air, covering surfaces, and even clogging the bathtub drain. Tests confirmed the substance was fentanyl.
Authorities also recovered multiple semi-automatic firearms, ammunition, digital scales, and a significant quantity of fentanyl powder throughout the residence. Rhodes and Gray are facing multiple charges, including dealing fentanyl.
