
INDIANA — Indiana Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets before a $50,000 Powerball prize expires later this week.
The winning ticket was purchased at Payless Liquors #12, located at 7369 Madison Ave. in Southport, for the Jan. 3, 2026, Powerball drawing.
The ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball. The winning numbers for that drawing were 18, 21, 40, 53 and 60, with a Powerball of 23.
The prize must be claimed by 4:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 2, at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis. Under Hoosier Lottery rules, draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
Lottery officials advise the ticket holder to keep the ticket in a secure location, consider consulting a financial advisor and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service for instructions on claiming the prize.
