NEW JERSEY — A New Jersey Lottery player is starting the week as a multimillionaire after purchasing the winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket for Monday night’s drawing.

Lottery officials said the jackpot-winning ticket, worth $2,327,955, was sold at Kings Food Markets on Morris Turnpike in Short Hills, located in Essex County.

The winning numbers for the June 29 drawing were 1, 6, 9, 22 and 30. The Bullseye number was 9, and the XTRA number was 2.

The jackpot winner ended a two-week stretch without a top prize winner. The last jackpot-winning ticket was sold for the June 15 drawing and was worth $439,345. Since then, the jackpot had continued to grow until Monday night’s drawing.

With the jackpot claimed, the Jersey Cash 5 top prize resets to $150,000 for Tuesday’s drawing.

The odds of matching all five numbers to win the jackpot with a $2 ticket are 1 in 1,221,759.
