
MARYLAND — Three $100,000 scratch-off prizes led the Maryland Lottery’s biggest winners during the week of June 22-28.
According to the Maryland Lottery, winning $100,000 tickets were sold in District Heights, Gaithersburg and Hyattsville. The prizes came from one 50X the Cash scratch-off ticket and two Scratch & Match scratch-off tickets.
The winning tickets were purchased at Fresh Market 24/7, 5400 Marlboro Pike Avenue in District Heights; Giant, 18250 Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg; and Queens Town Shell, 5398 Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville.
The week’s next-largest prize was a $76,522 Racetrax win on a ticket sold in Woodlawn. Another top prize of $57,777 was won on a Triple Red 7s Tripler scratch-off ticket purchased in Boonsboro.
Overall, the Maryland Lottery paid more than $27 million in prizes across all games from June 22 through June 28. During that period, 29 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold.
Lottery officials remind players to sign the backs of winning tickets and store them in a safe place. Draw game prizes expire 182 days after the drawing date, while FAST PLAY prizes expire 182 days after purchase. Scratch-off claim deadlines are based on each game’s end-sale date.
Maryland Lottery prizes exceeding $25,000 must be claimed at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore by appointment. Prizes up to $25,000 may be claimed at any of Maryland’s six casinos, while prizes up to $5,000 can be redeemed at Expanded Cashing Authority Program locations. Maryland Lottery retailers may redeem prizes of up to $600.
