TENNESSEE — A man died after a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Lakeland, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just before 10 p.m. to a reported crash with injuries in the 10600 block of Memphis-Arlington Road.
When deputies arrived, they found an unresponsive man and immediately began life-saving measures. The victim was transported to Regional One Health in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
The crash remains under investigation.
