VIRGINIA — Drivers traveling through Suffolk on Tuesday should expect delays after a vehicle crash on Interstate 664.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on the southbound side of I-664 near Bridge Road at mile marker 12.9.
As crews respond to the scene, the southbound left shoulder, left lane and center lane are currently closed. The extent of any injuries and the number of vehicles involved have not been released.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area and allow extra time for their commute while emergency crews work to clear the crash and reopen the affected lanes.
No estimate was immediately available for when all lanes will reopen.
