
OHIO — A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle late Sunday night on Broad Street on Columbus’ East Side, according to police.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:16 p.m. on East Broad Street just east of Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road.
Investigators said a vehicle traveling eastbound struck a man who was attempting to cross the roadway. The driver did not stop and left the scene following the collision.
Police said the victim was then struck by several additional vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash and working to identify the driver involved in the initial collision.
