
TEXAS — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Temple after a vehicle struck a utility pole and caught fire.
According to Temple police, officers responded to the crash at approximately 7:39 a.m. near the intersection of West Adams Avenue and Northwest HK Dodgen Loop.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the vehicle engulfed in flames. Authorities said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Rosanne Fisher.
No additional information about the victim or the circumstances leading up to the crash was immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
