
INDIANA — Two people were killed and three others were injured in a head-on crash involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck in Dearborn County early Sunday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
The crash occurred around 3 a.m. on U.S. Route 52 near the intersection with State Road 46.
Police said two occupants of the passenger vehicle died as a result of the collision. Two other occupants of the vehicle suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and were transported for medical treatment.
The driver of the semi-truck sustained minor injuries, authorities said.
Additional details, including what led to the crash, were not immediately released.
The Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate the incident.
