
OKLAHOMA — A 24-year-old Skiatook man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Osage County on Saturday night, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Trenton Hancock was driving northbound on North 52nd West Avenue, just south of 133rd Street North, at approximately 10:06 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a curve.
According to OHP, the vehicle left the roadway, struck two fences and a tree before coming to a stop.
Hancock was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
Authorities said Hancock was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Troopers also reported that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
