
NORTH CAROLINA — Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a woman injured early Friday morning along Carolina Pines Avenue.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Carolina Pines Avenue and Steel Street.
Investigators said the woman was walking along Carolina Pines Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle. The driver left the scene before officers arrived.
The victim was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police have not released a description of the vehicle or driver involved. The investigation remains ongoing.
