OHIO — A portion of Interstate 75 remains affected after a semi cab overturned and struck a concrete barrier wall early Friday morning in downtown Cincinnati.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the crash occurred near Ezzard Charles Drive when the semi cab hit a barrier wall while traveling in the southbound lanes and overturned.
Officials said the truck struck approximately 15 feet of the median wall, sending concrete debris across all three northbound lanes of the interstate.
While all northbound lanes have reopened, one southbound lane is currently closed as crews continue cleanup efforts related to a diesel fuel spill caused by the crash.
The semi cab has been placed upright and removed from the roadway by a tow truck, but work continues at the scene.
Authorities have not released information on any injuries. Motorists traveling through downtown Cincinnati are advised to expect delays while crews complete cleanup operations and the remaining lane closure remains in place.
