OKLAHOMA — A 48-year-old Atoka woman died after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Coal County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Leah Baker was traveling on State Highway 3 when her vehicle left the roadway on the right shoulder and struck a tree.

Baker suffered injuries in the crash and later died the same day, authorities said.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Baker’s next of kin have been notified.

Investigators have not released additional details about what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.

The crash remains under investigation.
