NORTH CAROLINA — A North Carolina lottery player is holding a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket following Wednesday night’s drawing.
The June 10 Powerball drawing featured winning numbers 12, 31, 38, 60, 66 and Powerball 14. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The jackpot was estimated at $239 million, with a cash value of $106.5 million at the time of the drawing.
According to lottery results, one ticket sold in North Carolina matched enough numbers to win a $100,000 prize. The ticket did not match all six numbers required to claim the jackpot.
No jackpot-winning ticket was reported in North Carolina, meaning the grand prize rolls over to the next drawing.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. North Carolina Education Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets, as additional prizes may have been won throughout the state.
The next Powerball jackpot is expected to grow following Wednesday night’s drawing.
