GEORGIA — A Georgia lottery player is holding a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket following Wednesday night’s drawing.
The June 10 Powerball drawing featured winning numbers 12, 31, 38, 60, 66 and Powerball 14. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. At the time of the drawing, the jackpot was estimated at $239 million, with a cash value of $106.5 million.
According to lottery results, one ticket sold in Georgia matched enough numbers to win a $50,000 prize. The ticket fell short of matching all six numbers needed to claim the jackpot.
No jackpot-winning ticket was reported from Georgia in the drawing, meaning the grand prize rolls over for the next Powerball drawing.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Georgia players are encouraged to check their tickets to see if they are among the latest winners.
The next Powerball jackpot is expected to grow following Wednesday night’s drawing.
